Silver Byzantine Pendant Cross with Greek Inscriptions
Circa 6th-9th Century AD
Byzantine silver cross incised with Greek inscriptions on each arms for various saints as well as NK at the top which is a variant of a longer inscription meaning Christ Conquers. Double lobes with a punched circle at the terminal end of each arm. Integral attachment loop at the top.
Height: 1.5 in (3.8 cm)
Condition: Lovely surface and condition. Intact and wearable.
